Rochdale businessman Asad Shamim has launched a non profit organisation designed to assist families in Pakistan, as well as overseas Pakistanis, who are in need of reliable legal support.

Named after the Urdu word for “justice,” Insaaf 4U has been created in collaboration with Justice (Retired) Wajhuddin Ahmed, Senior Justice of the Supreme Court of Pakistan and former Chief Justice of Sindh High Court. Together, the initiative represents a forward looking step towards ensuring that legal guidance and assistance is available to all who need it most.

The formal announcement of Insaaf 4U was made during the Pakistan Law Conference at Castlemere Community Centre on 23 November. The organisation is being established as a legal entity in the UK with a dedicated branch in Pakistan, ensuring that both local citizens and overseas Pakistanis have access to timely and professional legal support. Mr Shamim explained: “The vision of Insaaf 4U is to bring comfort and reassurance to families. We want to ensure that ordinary citizens, as well as overseas Pakistanis, can access fair and professional legal assistance without unnecessary stress. This is about giving people confidence in the system and supporting them through challenges with care and expertise.”

Insaaf 4U aims to provide assistance across a wide range of matters, from family and inheritance disputes to land and property cases, with an emphasis on resolving issues fairly and efficiently. By working with respected and experienced legal professionals, the organisation is committed to building greater trust and accessibility within the justice system. Alongside his role as founder of Insaaf 4U, Mr Shamim is also the CEO of Furniture in Fashion, one of the largest online furniture retailers in the UK, and has held senior advisory positions in several law firms and organisations. His contributions to business and community initiatives have been recognised with an Asian Business Leaders Award, Highly Commended Award at the British Muslim Awards 2024.

With Insaaf 4U, he now hopes to extend that same spirit of service to families across Pakistan and the global Pakistani community, offering them a trusted source of guidance and support when they need it most.
